web-search
- Use it when
- an agent needs fresh web results, or the clean text of specific pages, for research or fact-checking
- It does
- runs the Tavily and Exa search APIs through belt, the command line of inference.sh, a platform hosting AI models and tools
- You get
- answers with sources, lists of relevant links, or the readable text of the URLs you give
- Needs
- the belt CLI and an inference.sh account

TLDR
Tavily and Exa are AI search services. This skill gives the agent five of their tools on inference.sh, each with a ready belt command and a JSON input. Tavily Search Assistant returns an AI-written answer with sources and images; Exa Search returns relevant links with context; Exa Answer gives a direct answer to a factual question; Tavily Extract and Exa Extract pull clean text from pages you name. It also shows two chains on the same platform: search, then pass the results to a language model to summarize, or extract a long article and summarize it.

Drive browsers, scrape pages and search the web. Everything for building software: planning, coding, debugging, design, frameworks, cloud, agents and skills. |
|---|---|
| Type |
Operates a CLI, API, app or bundled script to get something done. |
| Effect |
Adds no side effects of its own. It shapes how the agent thinks, writes or reviews. Guidelines and routers are always effect:none, even when the task they support edits code. |
| Needs |
A specific command-line tool or desktop app must be installed, such as gh, agent-browser, LibreOffice, Obsidian or a vendor CLI. An account, API key or paid plan with an outside service. |
| Publisher |
Everyone else. Unverified vendor claims default to community. |

| Flags |
A copy of another publisher's skill under a different org. Each copy found had hundreds of thousands of installs while its original had fewer than twenty, so treat its ranking with caution. |
